Hello party people! So I feel totally out of my element right now posting on an off day at an off time. I will be out of town for the weekend (yay!). If you haven’t already heard, Sephora is have a huge sale for their beauty insiders starting tomorrow and I just had to share my top pics. I recently did a beauty post sharing my spring favorites, and now a lot of these items can be purchased on sale! What kind of friend would I be if I didn’t share this news with you? Here are my top picks from the Sephora Beauty Sale
If you aren’t already a Sephora beauty insider you can sign up for free here.
I have used Clinique 7 day scrub cream for about a decade (maybe longer, but who’s counting?) and LOVE it. It’s a mild exfoliant that can be used everyday if you wish. I also wash my face daily with Purity by Philosophy. It’s mild, gentle and removes your makeup. Once I entered my 30’s I also started taking my skin care much more seriously. I use a light sunscreen over my makeup everyday (this is a Sephora exclusive!) and also apply 2 different serums: this one and this one every night.
I absolutely HATE washing my hair, but I LOVE this dry shampoo. It is amazing!! I apply it to my day 2,3 (and sometimes 4) hair. I also take haircare very seriously and love this dryer by T3 and using a curling wand for long lasting curls. Sephora no longer sells my exact model but this one is much newer and has incredible reviews.
I’ve talked about this a lot lately here on the blog so I don’t want to bore you. But this foundation is a great medium coverage and blends nicely. I use this sponge to blend it in. I also love this blush and bronzer to give my face some definition. When I want a subtle “glow” without a ton of shimmer or shine on my face I love this ambient light powder by Hourglass. It’s a little pricey but a little goes a long way and it lasts forever.
I just picked up the Anastasia soft glam palette a few weeks ago and am obsessed. The colors are very pigmented and blend very well. I also recently started using this liner by Tarte and have used this mascara for years – seriously nothing beats it! I also define my brows with this pencil. It is the best I’ve found. I recently discovered these liquid lipsticks by Bare Minerals and really like them. I use a matte shade and layer it with a patent shade.
Also, I don’t really care for “perfumey” smells so finding the perfect fragrance is tough. This one by Chloe smells fresh, floral and out of this world good.
