The rain is finally over! Spring break is next week and while we don’t have any plans, I thought it would be fun to share another capsule wardrobe post. We recently went up to Sacramento to visit family and so it’s still fresh in my mind how tricky packing for a trip can be. It’s especially difficult to pack for spring getaways when the weather is still quite unpredictable. I’ve put together a 15 piece capsule and created over 17 looks – including shoes and swimwear – that will be great for any occasion this season.
Most of these pieces are closet staples that you will already have in your collection. If not, they’re tried and true basics that you’ll be able to wear countless ways for years to come. For example, white denim. I love this particular style because they’re super stretchy and are not see through. Also, if click here if you’re interested in seeing my fall capsule wardrobe post.
The next key piece in your spring break capsule wardrobe is a good pair of cutoff denim shorts. I’m glad that longer lengths are becoming trendy because #momlife. I love this pair from Abercrombie. The rise is pretty high so if you’re between sizes you may want to size up 1. Otherwise, your normal size should be fine. I’m wearing a size 27 for reference.
The last key piece is a pair of olive shorts. This pair from Loft is so. dang. good. They’re elasticized and have the cutest little frayed hem details. What’s not to love? I’m wearing them in an XS and they fit true to size.
I hope you enjoyed this spring break capsule wardrobe. Let me know if you’d like to see more like this in the future! And as always, thanks for reading!
