As much as I’m an advocate for versatile, timeless classics, I also love to try out new trends. Paperbag waists started making an appearance last year, but it’s taken me until now to warm up to the trend. I’m also really into all of the wooden button details. They are so chic and I feel like they can be dressed up or down so many different ways.
You can wear paperbag waist pants and a tailored blouse with heels to the office or you can dress them down with a flirty cami and sandals for a casual weekend vibe. They give you an effortless yet put together vibe all in one. All of the pieces I’m featuring today are also included in the Abercrombie sale. I also rounded up all of the best weekend sales in this post.
paperbag waist bottoms
I bought these shorts a few weeks ago and I’m obsessed. They have a high rise with an elasticized waist for added comfort. I do feel like they are true to size and I’m wearing them in a small for reference. The rust color is so pretty and I think it will be great for summer and fall as well.

I paired them with this adorable button front cami. It has adjustable straps which I love and a flattering straight silhouette. It’s not too loose or too fitted and still looks nice tucked into high waisted bottoms but also looks great untucked.
Another trend I’ve been loving this season is hair accessories. There are so many cute options out there from clips to scrunchies to bandanas to headbands. I may have gone a little overboard here but there are just so many cute things. And at least I have 2 daughters too. Here are some of my favorites:
