In case you haven’t noticed, my favorite store is Nordstrom. Unfortunately for me we don’t have one near us so I have to buy online and return the items that don’t work out. For some this sounds like torture, but for now, it works for me. Taking my kids with me to the mall is a nightmare and who doesn’t love getting packages at their doorstep? Today I’ve rounded up my favorite fall finds under $60 for you with my honest reviews.
If you’ve been following me for a while you’ll know that I am not a girl who wears a lot of makeup or likes to get glammed up on a daily basis. When it came time to take our family photos last weekend, I realized that I was running out of several beauty products. After a mini panic attack I trudged off to Ulta to pick up a few things. There are always so many new products to choose from in stores like that which tend to leave me feeling a little overwhelmed. I don’t like to look too done up so it’s hard to find products that match my lifestyle and not to mention complexion. I only intended to buy 2 products which turned into a mini beauty haul.
Back in August I mentioned that I was taking a break. Now I’m back to blogging and I feel like I’m in a much better place than I was before. To read that post click here. Now that I’m back into the swing of things I thought I would give you guys a little more insight as to what caused my need for a break and how to avoid fitness burnout yourself.
It is officially fall. Pumpkin spice everything and Halloween decorations have been on the shelves for quite some time now but this is the real deal. Although I’m the kind of girl who will wear plaid prints year round, there is something about plaid that just screams “FALL!“. So in case you hadn’t already guessed it, in this month’s 3 Ways to Wear, I’ll be showing you 3 fun and different ways to style your favorite plaid button up.
We’ve been enjoying fall break this week and it’s been nice not having to be anywhere at a certain time. With both my kids at different schools starting at different times and trying to work from home, life can get a little hectic. Don’t get me wrong, I wouldn’t go back to my corporate 9-5 (err 5-2) for anything. Being at home all of the time still requires a great amount of balancing and discipline. That’s why I love recipes that are quick, clean and that my kids will love. In an effort to cut down on some of the carbohydrates in traditional fajitas, my easy clean eating chicken fajita bowls were born.
I hope everyone it having a fantastic week! The girls are both on fall break next week and I’m not sure what I’m going to do with myself. Now that September is coming to an end, retailers are clearing their shelves to make room for fall. Stores are clearing out their shorts, tees and skimpy dresses and stocking up on boots and jackets. Unfortunately here in SoCal it will still be too hot for these things for quite a while still. But hey, a girl can dream right? Today I’m rounding up all of my favorite fall sale pieces that I’ve previously shared here on the blog. What kind of friend would I be if I didn’t share this information with you?
