It’s no secret that I love shoes and stripes. Spring shoes are my absolute favorite! I swear that every time I tell myself, “I really don’t need another pair of shoes”, I find a pair that I know I’ll regret not adding to my closet. Shoes are one of my biggest weaknesses. They have the ability to make or break your outfit and can totally transform your look. Lucky for you, I’ve found a ton of affordable options this season that I know you’re going to love. Most are even under $50. I’ve broken them down by style for easy shopping.
Mules are great because they aren’t just a spring shoe but they can be worn year round. They’re also great for work or casual wear. I’ve really been loving the mule trend this season. When I first saw them last year I hated them, until I actually tried them on. I love how easy they are to slide on and go. I also feel like when your ankle is exposed it elongates your leg as opposed to traditional flats. At 5’1″ tall, I need all the help I can get in this department.
For spring, I love all things blush and am absolutely obsessed with these. I also love this leopard espadrille style which I shared in Monday’s post. I also ordered a real leather pair from Madewell that I know I will get a ton of use out of. They were a bit of a splurge but like I said, I know I’ll get my money’s worth.
Espadrilles and Wedges
Hands down this is my favorite shoe style ever. Being short, I feel like I need to wear wedges to blend in with my peers (ha!). I love the espadrille style because it lends a casual chic vibe and they’re usually extra comfy. My favorite pair of all time is this style by Sole Society. I love them so much and wear them all the time. In fact, I have them in 3 colors. These always sell out quick so if you find them in stock, snatch them up ASAP! I also love this style which I found at Target of all places for less than $35!
These spring shoes are also worth investing in because they can be worn year round. I’m loving all of the intricate details this season. Booties are great for pairing with not only jeans but skirts, shorts and dresses too. Every girl needs at least 2 pairs in her closet if you ask me. I’m absolutely obsessed with this pair and also love these for everyday wear.
No spring shoe wardrobe is complete without a good pair of sandals. Living in Southern California we basically live in sandals year round which is nice. I found my favorite pair of Tory Burch sandals on sale for you guys (be sure to use code GOBIG18 at checkout). These are kind of an investment piece BUT they are very comfortable, well made and last forever. I’ve had mine at least 5 years now. I’ve also linked up some other great (affordable options) that I love. Including this very similar style that I always get tons of compliments on.
