I feel like I was just writing about last year’s Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and here we are again. I’m glad to see some of my favorites from previous years will be included in the sale again. It looks like there are some great new pieces to check out this season as well. If you’re new to following me or aren’t really a regular Nordstrom shopper, it’s one of their best sales of the year. Instead of end of season merchandise being marked down, Nordstrom puts brand new fall and winter pieces on sale. It’s also a great time to stock up on basics, beauty and intimates.

When is the 2019 Nordstrom Anniversary Sale?
The sale opens early for Nordstrom Card holders from July 12th-18th. It then opens up to the public on July 19th – August 4th and prices go up on the 5th. I personally have been a Nordstrom Visa card holder since 2008 and it is my main personal credit card. I love that you earn points towards Nordstrom notes on every purchase (Nordstrom notes are essentially like a gift card) and you can also earn triple points days.
Please note, I am in no way encouraging you to get a credit card if that is not right for you or your financial situation.
How to Make the Most of the Sale
The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale can be very overwhelming. First of all, it takes place in July when it’s still 100+ degrees outside and mostly fall and winter pieces are included in the sale. My advice is to do a closet clear out and make a list of things you need and want for the upcoming season. Pieces do go fast because there are a ton of bloggers shopping for fall content and consumers hunting for great deals. This is why I recommend to grab things you like ASAP. Nordstrom does offer free shipping and free returns always which is great in the instance that something doesn’t work out.
The top things to stock up on are: designer denim, cardigans, boots, basics and intimates. I scored this bra last year on sale and still wear it weekly.
What I’m Shopping for
I went a little overboard last year so I’m going to try to keep it under control this year. I do however need a new pair of running sneakers and probably a pair of jeans and a few tops. Here are some things I have my eye on:
