In case you haven’t noticed, my favorite store is Nordstrom. Unfortunately for me we don’t have one near us so I have to buy online and return the items that don’t work out. For some this sounds like torture, but for now, it works for me. Taking my kids with me to the mall is a nightmare and who doesn’t love getting packages at their doorstep? Today I’ve rounded up my favorite fall finds under $60 for you with my honest reviews.
Favorite Fall Finds Under $60
I’m totally digging the camo trend this season. This is described online as a hooded sweatshirt but I’d definitely have to disagree. It’s more of a hooded longsleeve shirt. It’s very soft and lightweight and perfect for warm/hot climates. The website recommends sizing up and I’m normally an XS/S but I ordered the small and I’m undecided whether or not I’ll exchange for a medium. Overall, I think this one is a keeper.
You guys know I love my bell sleeve tops. The color of this one was great, the fabric is super soft and lightweight but, I’m not in love with the oversized fit in combination with the bell sleeves. As much as I wanted to love this one, it will be going back.
3. Burnout Tee
I was obsessed with the color of this top online. I love all of the ruddy fall colors that most people typically hate. However, this one did not look right with my skin tone. The fabric was a little scratchy too. This one will also be going back.
I missed out on these during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale but I still wanted to give them a try. I love the moto trend and had just bought a matching pair for my daughter. Unfortunately due to my short legs (27″ inseam) and short torso the waist band came up way too high and the legs were a few inches too long. Otherwise, I absolutely loved these. I’d say overall though they were pretty comfy and soft, they just didn’t work for me. The fit was pretty TTS.
5. Grommet Tee
I am obsessed with this trend this season! This tee comes in so many colors and will be a staple for me this season. I ordered it in blue and it will look great with grey jeans and booties, white jeans in the spring or layered under an olive jacket for fall/winter. Plus, it’s on sale for just under $20! It’s a must have!
Another trend I’m digging right now! This one isn’t too distressed so if you’re not sure how you feel about the trend, give this top a try. Plus I’m in love with the blush color and of course the stripes. See how I’ve styled it so far here.
This shirt is the perfect tee in my opinion. I bought it in black and the beige/blush color and will probably buy others as well. It has the perfect amount of flow without being oversized, the v-neck isn’t too deep and it’s super soft. It is the holy grail of tees in my opinion.
I originally bought this back in the spring but noticed it has recently gone on sale for $21! It will look great layered under a faux leather or suede jacket with jeans, statement earrings and your favorite booties this fall. See how I styled it this spring here.
Sneakers are a part of my everyday #momuniform so when I saw these pink beauties it was love at first sight. ICYMI there was an article circulating the internet regarding the color of these shoes which initially piqued my interest. These are super comfortable and don’t rub my heels. They’ll be great for everything that motherhood calls me to do.
10. Colorblock Scarf
Regardless of the perpetual heat here in Southern California, I still adore scarves. This rectangular oblong scarf is super soft and warm and will be perfect for the winter. I love the trendy color blocking pattern. However, due to the fact that it is still 100 degrees outside right now, this one is going back for now.
I’ve been looking for some boho inspired studs for quite a while. When I came across this set I was instantly in love. Their simple, small and easy to wear. I have multiple ear piercings and they do fit nicely together without looking crazy. Although they are a cheaper style they didn’t seem to irritate my ears at all.
12. Seamless Bra
To be honest, I bought this bra solely to wear with the grommet tee. It runs in small, medium, large sizing so it probably wouldn’t work for busty gals. I’m small busted and ordered a small and I feel like it might run a tad small but overall it’s a great bra.
Just like taking pictures, not everything is a keeper. Don’t get discouraged when you try things and they don’t work out. And if you feel like all of this is overwhelming at first you’ll soon learn to understand what cuts, fabrics and styles work best on you which makes narrowing down your purchasing decisions even easier later on.
