Shoe Lovers Unite!
Happy Friday everyone! I received a pair of shoes in the mail today that I had been eyeing for quite some time now. It isn’t a secret, I am a bonafide shoe lover! There is something about a nice pair of shoes that can really pull even the most basic outfit together. However, being a mom of 2 young daughters, I have to make mostly practical footwear choices. While fashion and function are still very important to me, comfort is key. Bottom line: if I can’t walk in it, I can’t wear it! You will never find me wobbling around in stiletto heels.
More often than not, when I find a pair I really love I can’t resist to buy them in black AND brown. I have a thing for neutrals I guess. Neutrals are classic, chic and timeless and they can be easily mixed and matched into your wardrobe. So even the trendier styles get a little more longevity when purchased in a neutral color. Each of these can be dressed up or down and paired with all of your favorite jeans, shorts, skirts and dresses.
My top five picks are not only fashionable, but they are also comfortable. These have all been tried and tested and have all been certified as comfortable for several hours of walking and standing. These shoes are my go to’s for every occasion from early spring until the weather finally cools down in late October. These 5 shoes are well worth the investment and can be worn season after season.
These 5 Spring Shoes picks are all $150 or less which is great for your pocketbook too:
- Jeffrey Campbell Rayos Perforated Wedge (top left)
- Rebecca Minkoff Georgina Studded Sandal (top right)
- Sole Society Audrina Flatform Wedge (bottom left)
- Dolce Vita Louise Sandals (middle)
- Dolce Vita Nova Wedge (bottom right)
