I’m so happy to be bringing this series back. As you know, I’m a fashionista on a budget and am always looking to get the most bang for my buck. I’m sure you all can relate, amirite? Last month was super busy with the holidays and such that I didn’t get a chance to create a 3 ways to wear post. But in case you missed November’s, you can read it here. If you’ve been following along on Instagram you’ll know that I scooped up this gorgeous black moto jacket that I’ve had my eyes on for over a year for 40% off! This is sort of an investment piece and I needed to show my husband at least 3 ways I could wear it to be able to convince him that it was worth the money.
I’m sure you’ll be seeing a lot of this moto jacket but here are 3 fun ways I’ve styled it for you. Just a note it does run TTS on the verge of running small. If you’re between sizes, go up one size for comfort. Especially if you live in a cooler climate where you would be layering this over sweaters or thicker long sleeved shirts.
Look 1: Everyday Casual
You can wear this look for running errands, school drop off/pick up, drinks with the girls – you name it. This outfit is great for almost anywhere. I love a good graphic tee and this one is currently sold out but this is another one that I love and also own. These jeans are the best distressed skinnies and have awesome stretch to keep you comfy all day long. They come in tons of washes too and are currently buy one get one 1/2 off.

Look 2: Girls Night Out
This outfit could be worn for date nights, grabbing cocktails with your girl friends or with a swap of the shoes, pretty much anywhere. Let’s get real here, these heels aren’t necessarily meant for everyday LOL! Here is a comfier option if you’re interested. I’ve spent years searching for the perfect boyfriend jeans and let me tell you, these are it! Also, this cami comes in tons of colors and you definitely need them all.

Look 3: Date Night
This look is perfect for date nights or possibly even a casual wedding. This jacket will look great layered over your favorite dresses or paired with fitted pencil skirts and camis. Just add some statement earrings to make it a little more fun. Again, these heels aren’t for everyday but they are pretty versatile. And if you need a more practical option, these are great.

How would a man wear a moto jacket?
Gotta know,
Dad
with a waffle knit long sleeve tee, jeans and casual sneakers 🙂
Although you look super good on all of the looks, my favourite i the first one! Probably just because I love casual outfits, hehehe
I live in casual outfits
I. LOVE. THIS!
I’ve struggled with style ever since I became a Mom, lets be honest – I really mean I lost myself completely in my children several years ago and I’m finally working towards bringing her back out. I always run across fashion blogs that are always showing very dressy, extremely high end (aka not my lifestyle) looks. When I saw you paired boyfriend jeans, a graphic tee, a pair of vans, a pair of target shoes and a moto jacket all in one post – I realized I needed to subscribe. You’re my jam!
Now, off to shop! Love all three looks!!
You are the sweetest, your comment made my day! I have always been really into fashion but since I work from home I have to be practical. I also have a 4 and 6 year old daughter and 3 dogs so 90% of the time I am wearing comfy clothes 😉
I love all of these looks with the jacket! These are such great options for styling such a cute jacket in different ways. I love it.
Thank you! I have a rule that I won’t buy something if I can’t think of at least 3 ways to wear it.
I love the different looks you achieved with one jacket! I need a closet staple like this!!
yes, you really do! The key is sticking to neutral so that they’re more versatile and timeless.
Love how versatile this jacket is! Hugs, Kait
