Happy Friday my friends! Can you believe it’s somehow already November 30th? If you’re reading this post, it probably means that you too are the proud owner of an Elf on the Shelf and this little dude is making his reappearance tonight. I absolutely LOVE the holiday season but, the Elf on the Shelf is one of those traditions I could probably live without. However, the kids do adore him.
It’s been almost an entire month since I’ve posted here but I’ve just been SO BUSY! I’ve been taking on more hours at work and to be honest, I’ve just been feeling burnt out. I need to get into the Christmas spirit though because there are just so many fun things to do this time of year.

For those of you who don’t know what the Elf on the Shelf is, let me explain. It is an elf that hides somewhere in your house everyday to watch your children’s daily behavior. He flies home to Santa every night to report back and finds a new hiding spot the next day. The kids can name him and he becomes a part of your family. You kids will love discovering all of the crazy mischief that he gets into.
As I mentioned above, our elf, Buddy, comes back to night so I’m sharing photos of his adventures from last year. You can also get your own elf here.

As you can see, he got around the house pretty well last year. I can’t wait to see what he has up his sleeve this year! Be sure to follow along on my Instagram stories to see what he’s up to.
Happy Holidays and thanks for reading!
